Who runs DayEaty
DayEaty is run by an individual based in France. For any question about your personal data, write to admin@dayeaty.com.
What we store
When you use DayEaty we store:
- your first name, last name and email address, held by our sign-in service and copied into the app's database when you first sign in;
- what you create in the app: recipes with their ingredients, quantities and steps, photos you upload, meal plans, macro goals, logs of what you ate or skipped, and daily nutrition totals.
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us. We never receive your Google password.
Why we use it
We use your data only to run the service: to sign you in, and to show you your recipes, plans, goals and totals. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or share it with advertisers. Your recipes, plans and logs are visible only to your account.
Where it is stored
Our servers are hosted by OVH in Strasbourg, France, inside the European Union.
Cookies and similar storage
DayEaty uses no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics. The sign-in service sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in. Your browser also keeps your sign-in session and the page to return to after signing in, on your device.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. To delete your account, write to admin@dayeaty.com. Within 30 days we delete your account, your recipes, plans, goals and logs, your uploaded photos and the technical records linked to them.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it is used, by writing to admin@dayeaty.com. You can also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at www.cnil.fr.
